Coupla tips on gear changes. I had to change my driving style after I first got mine 2yrs ago.
1. Starting off: Typical style is to feed in a bit of throttle to get revs a little above idle and then start letting the clutch pedal up.
I found I had to change that. Now I always take off (in first or second) with no throttle at all. Only when the clutch is 99-100% up then feed in throttle.
2. On the move, upshifting: Had to learn new style here too. It took a while to make this the new habit. What I do when it's time to upshifting is lift off the throttle totally. Clutch pedal down. Shift. Clutch pedal up. Then feed throttle in again. The ECU seems to do a good job of handling the throttle positioning for you for a nice shift.
(But by far the single biggest change to driving smoothness was when I did a BAS Autobiography remap. Really fixes up the throttle curves etc... Smoooooth!)
