Exciting, for your son. I'm heading down to Gracetown for the long weekend, unfortunately it will be in my wife's Corolla instead of the 110. Hopefully mine will be sometime next week it it ever manages to be delivered to the dealer...

My son took delivery today. See pic He is on his way to Denmark to "run it in"

When is the longweekend? Im in Gracetown most days to do a surfcheck
Mine is white 130 with alloy canopy on tub

This weekend is a long weekend, we are staying at the Gracetown caravan park. Along with Beefy, white Puma 110, and DiscoWA and Ferret both D4s. Will keep an eye out.

I spotted a new a D90 same as your son's travelling down Railway Pde Maylands this afternoon, they do look good.

If you are interested make sure they keep all the stickers off your Defender. The broadcast sheet should be with it, it is the sheet which accompanies your vehicle during build, & details ALL specs of YOUR build.

My dealer was obliging when I asked him to do this for me and provided all stickers as requested, but insisted there was no build sheet accompanying the vehicle. My guess is it was tossed when the vehicle was processed.

I'm not too bothered though. There's a multitude of documentation detailing the order spec, as well as screen captures from JLRs order management system.

The red really does look a treat, congratulations! It's funny, one of my colleagues was saying how he nearly bought a 110 in October and showed me the quote he was given - it was your car! His wife didn't let him have it in the end, which worked out well for you. I'd be looking for a new wife if I was him

Every time I see photos like this, I cannot believe it's virtually all over!

I am visiting the UK ATM and saw these 2 beauties at my local dealer... the '65' plate is up to Feb 29th 2016... and the '16' plate is after March 1st.



VERY VERY few '16' plate Defenders will ever be registered in the UK... a real collectors item!

Having said that, registering on Feb 29th would have been pretty neat too!

I wonder if any 2016 built cars made it to Perth?
