    Scheelmann Seats

Hi all, is anyone running Scheelmann seats at all?

Just after some feedback regarding the seats below and if the optional lumbar support upgrade is worthwhile?

Landrover Tuning :: scheel-mann sportline LR Edition, with foldable seat

Cheers in advance for any feedback!

I have them. I ordered them without the lumbar support and don't miss it.
I am generally happy with them. The only downside is they raise the seat height. So at 6'3" I have to bend my head down even further than before at traffic lights.

    Thanks Isuzurover!

Do you have seat runner extensions as well? Or are the seats that much higher on their frame when fitted?

I have homemade ones that were in it when i bought it. They lift the seat about 1" and move it back 3". They were never a problem with the original seats, however i will probably pull them out.

Thanks for that. I have just ordered some Mulgo seat rail extensions, I'll have to wait and see if they will work with the Scheelmann seats when I order them.
I've decided to go with them as the standard seats are not holding up too well. The left hand side of the back is collapsing so it's becoming rather average on long drives!

Well it didn't take long, my lovely leather accentuated seats are starting to kill my lower back, I'm in dire need of Mulgo seat rail extensions. And a custom seat.

Does anyone in Sydney have the Scheelmans fitted that I could hit up for a sit in to make sure they're comfy before I part with my cash. I happy to drive wherever suits to meet.

Or does anyone know of a dealer that might have them?

Next steps are bend the Blooming handbrake lever over to create a bit more room for the boys, they're getting cramped between the handbrake and the door handle, I feel like I'm driving in a straight jacket ha ha ha

I used a RRC handbrake lever and mounted it to the top of the seat box between the seat and the cubby Just had to drill a couple of holes and block the hole where the old lever was. Really simple fix that took about an hour to do
