oops double post
The recaros look great. How tall are you? How is visibility out the side windows and do you feel like it's too high or just right through front screen? Can you still see the sky?
At first I thought they were too high, I have dropped the back settings the front have to stay on the highest as there is no clearance to drop the front.
I'm approx 5'11.5"
As apposed to standard seats being way too low for my liking I prefer a little on the high side.
Had a nice long drive this morning and it has totally changed the feel of the drive, they hug you and keep you tucked in, they have eliminated the body roll and the suspension in them absorbs the bumps.
Over an hour drive I didn't move once, the lumber support is very comfortable, the standard seats I used to move around in constantly trying to get comfortable and always felt the seat base was too small like I was going to roll/slide off the seat.
Visibility- yeah you can still see the sky 100m ahead of you ha ha ha.
If you have Mulgo seat rails on standard seats you will be approx another inch higher.

ARB Moorebank. They had a sale on last weekend and the rep from Recaro was up from Melbourne. The deal was too good to pass on.

Hi all,
A couple of very quick Boxing Day questions I would appreciate anyone here answering!
After much deliberation I recently purchased a new 90 in Corris Grey with Black Pack. Premium leather seats etc.
It isn't due for a while......but I have been recently lured towards a new 90 Keswick Green with Black Pack and same additions.
The dealer offering the Keswick though is demanding a good $5k above the Corris.....and I would have to pretty much walk away from a small deposit that secured the Corris.
So would you do it? The Keswick appears to enjoy a fair bit of popularity on this forum.
Also, what is the general view here of the black sawtooth alloys as opposed to the more usual silver alloys or steel wheels?
I am new to Defender (outside of having a few decaying and non-functioning Series ll on the farm) so unsure as to the popularity of the various colours and views concerning the wheels etc.
cheers
My 110 is Keswick green and I wouldn't have it any other way, but I personally wouldn't drop $5k on a colour choice that i already had paid for, especially if it meant losing a deposit. It's only a colour, and I'm sure you'll love what you have as soon as you start driving it.
I have no personal experience with the sawtooth alloys, but I know from the forum that they are extremely popular.
My personal opinion is to go with your ordered vehicle colour, and save that 5 grand for other bits and pieces to make it everything you dreamed of.
Cheers,
