Interesting video, I was waiting for the tree to come down!!:D
You will probably need more winching force than that when bogged and it has mud all around it and the axles are dragging.
That said, I think either of the winches would be fine. The 11000lb would pull more but probably just not be as quick - so be a lot more convenient. I've always run a 9000lb on my Discovery and it has been good, so you'd probably be laughing with both that you're looking at.
Thanks guys, 11 it is
That electric winch is no good, you need this  [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYVhjTtVlmE[/ame]
Jesusus!
Some comments in this thread may be of use when considering the "...no such thing as too big" notion: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/90-110-130...h-arb-bar.html
I passed on the great deal due to the feedback I received in that thread.
Good point jc.
I guess it's kind of like a smaller example of situations like when people put massively powered engines into vehicles without upgrading other driveline parts etc resulting in frequent breakages.
Well hope 11xp is a happy medium and won't result in the consequences mentioned in that thread. Yuck!
