haha yes good point, as in the OP would be jumping up stating it was 12V, instead as you have pointed out, we hear silence.

On side note, I find fitting a "jump plug" onto the front of a Defender a good addition...
*No more trying to get jumper leads under passenger seat.
*high amp cable connected direct to primary battery.
*high amp anderson plug on front of vehicle.
*fit off a good quality set of surge protected jump leads with an anderson plug
*high amp battery isolator switch inside vehicle, so anderson plug is only live when needed.
Every customers Defender i've fitted this to admits its awesome once they have used it! And of course a jump plug is only needed on a Defender to start other vehicles right?.....:p :p
