I've never used it. I traded a hi-lift for it. Ask Redback, it was he that traded it.
I wouldn't trade my hi lift Jack for an airbag. No doubt they're great when they work, but a puncture would be a real pain. Hi lift jacks are very good in the right situation, eg sand with a base plate, and if used properly with great care. They can get you out of trouble, but they can also get you into trouble and there has been many an injury as a result. Lock your centre diff, handbrake on, use wheel chocks, a base plate and know where to stand in relation to the jack arm! Having said all that, I use the bottle jack as first priority if possible. Straight under the axle, simple, safer.
Airbag (bullbag? Brand?) Was all we used in 1992 Aust Safari when searching for a fast and lightweight solution for changing tyres. We used it a fair bit never had an issue. They come with mats to put under and on top of to protect from damage during use and some of the terrain we used it on like on top of gibbers etc would've been game over without them. I highly recommend one however it is useless if the engine won't run, or if during the jacking process the angle is such that you run out of fuel... 😮😣 don't ask...

The L322 has twin exhaust outlets so I'd need to plug one of them to use the bag.
