Sorry Summit but i disagree mate. The American trucks are cheaper to run long term as opposed to the european trucks. The european trucks usually have a lot more technology, comfort and safety but also cost a lot more and when they break cost twice as much. This is my experience and what i have learned being around trucks

Sorry Summit but i disagree mate. The American trucks are cheaper to run long term as opposed to the european trucks. In fact most truck and dog combos are American trucks. Nothing works harder than truck and dogs that enter quarrys.

How this relates to the new defender i dont know. We live in a world where compromise is no longer seen as acceptable. Saftey, pollution and build cost dominate a manufacturers guide lines. Everything has to be built within these guides if they arent they are fased out. I love my Defender, theres nothing like it, wont replace it until it is dead and love driving it......if there is to be a new defender i just hope it is better than any toyota or nissan and does the icon proud.
