Like you I rejected Tile because of its sealed nature (EOL change over costs).

The benefit of Tile and TrackR is their global network.

Even leaving them at Adelaide Airport you would have been advised of their location in the app on your phone.

The crowd functionality of the big players was a key driver for me.

Your lucky. To replace a lost key at my work is a minimum $400 and that's for one key and programming. More if you don't have a second key or the electronic key code. Takes a week or so to come from overseas as well.

I still get a full day out of the phone running multiple BT based apps in the background with GPS enabled. [emoji41]

Had a look at those Trackr things today. What kind of battery life do you get Tombie?

The devices last over 12 months. And the batteries are about $4.50 for 10
