    Like you I rejected Tile because of its sealed nature (EOL change over costs).

    The benefit of Tile and TrackR is their global network.

    Even leaving them at Adelaide Airport you would have been advised of their location in the app on your phone.

    The crowd functionality of the big players was a key driver for me.

    Here's the coverage in Australia at the moment - remember these points "move" - every phone running the applications is a continual search beacon...




    I'm interested to hear your experiences of the unit you have chosen in a few months... Although now you're likely to never misplace anything again!

    Your lucky. To replace a lost key at my work is a minimum $400 and that's for one key and programming. More if you don't have a second key or the electronic key code. Takes a week or so to come from overseas as well.

    On the device itself or the phone?

    The devices last over 12 months. And the batteries are about $4.50 for 10
