    True that, Pat. But it'll be WAY more expensive, longer time to fit, and vertical clearance will be further compromised. Plus, you can most likely forget about having a roof rack if you ever wanted one. No doubts it would be cold though as I see a D110 running around in these parts with that kit on.

    Yes they are exxy,but we had them on everything up in the Pilbara and the only thing that could touch them was the A/C in our L322 RR,fitted to the front slope over the driver/passenger doors you loose very little clearance and there's heaps of room for a rack. Pat

    Has anybody actually tried one of these?

    tossing up between this (expensive) and a minibus evaporator (cheap)...

    Can I reveal my ignorance of how aircon works, particularly since my Puma has a different system, and ask isn't it possible to simply fit a T-junction in the aircon piping somewhere and run a length from front to back to channel more air down there? Does it actually need an extra evaporator and so on?
    Sorry if that's a dumb question...
