Got sick of looking at my roof with all the clear coat peeling off. Finally decided to do something about it, so on the weekend with the help of my brother in laws we sanded back the roof and sprayed it black.

Looks OK but won't the matt black attract the heat more making the aircon work even harder? Although the rack will give some shade especially when loaded.

installed 52" stedi light bar at the top edge of the windscreen using GRP4x4 mounts. tidy installation but whistled really badly. added some rubber strip between the cooling fins on the lower edge of the light, quiet as a mouse (and brighter than the sun!)
