yes, pressed the ends, then the sides and a small weld where they met. The challenge was to make room for the maxtrax pin nut so it didn't foul the window.

MUD stuff have the t-bolts, but most body builders should have them: M2 t-bolt (actually M10x25) used for fixing seats to cargo rail - think buses and disability modified vans etc.
It's a tough call whether to leave it for table/stove, or door bag. With the lack of storage in the 90, i went the bag option.
The tuff-trek bag is great. On trips we keep high use kit in it like toiletries, head torches, cups, plates, sunscreen etc etc to save rummaging through crates for it. In town it's handy for all the usuals like tie downs, dog leads and anything you don't want rattling about in the back.
To answer your question, yes I do love them - keeps everything ship shape and i can lay my hands on what i need to use quickly and easily.

Installed a cowl to hopefully improve the air quality from the vents (less damp smelling).

I am going to do it myself. I just hop the factory pinion height and bearing preloaded is correct.
As for the lt230....I am going to find a way to hold the output flange when I torque up the big nut. Some ppl suggest put the gearbox in first
