Alice is at the dealership having her first service...
I miss her already! ( I can see her outside my office window on Mon and Fri )
They gave me a nameless, personality-less, Disco Sport for a loan car.
( I will admit, under duress, that the Disco Sport is a pleasant experience to drive )
Can't wait to pick Alice up after work.
Dealership called... they asked if Alice could stay for a sleep over
They have decided to change out the clutch, and can't fit it in today
I'm happy they decided not to rush the job
But I'm upset that I have to take the loan car home
How many ks for the clutch change - 20,000?
Mine has had a new clutch under the previous owner and I think from memory it was around 40,000. These clutches must not be much good if they only last that long - or else it's driving style, I suppose.
A friend's Nissan Navara has just had its clutch replaced - at 230,000 kms.
Serviced my 2012 D90 at home. Engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, diff oil and replaced a couple of globes.
Today I booked him in for front and rear Ashcroft lockers and he flanges.
I finally managed to finish off a few jobs which have been hanging around for a while now.
Fitted up a light bar, an additional reverse lamp, and fitted up a Mud UK (Mud stuff) switch console with their Carling switches. Also re-arranged the diff lock switch and air conditioning switch so that I am less likely to accidently hit the wrong switch while driving.
