The big clean up of the Defender continues. Today it had a thorough wash over and tomorrow a polish with some quality wax like Mothers whatever. :p
Then an oil/filter plus the air filter as I have a spare.
Pic session follows then probably on carsales Monday or maybe as one person suggested, put it on Gumtree for "offers" and see what transpires. :)

Yes I'll do the fuel filter as well. It was changed less than 15K ago but I like to change that and other filters more frequently than LR recommend.

I finally fitted the APT fuel tank guard to my 110.

Oil and filter changed along with the fuel filter. That used up the last of the Penrite 20ltr drum I bought. Final check tomorrow then a few pics and on the web she goes.
Then we'll see how good all these stories of great prices are or if they're just wishful thinking. :o
I know about what I want for it and am looking forward to seeing what's offered.

Today I took the roof rack off with the help of Andy130, and polished the roof (I can't normally get to this part of the car with it on).
Will attempt polish the rest of the car thru the week ahead when it's cool of an afternoon.
El Burro is currently a chrome dome (shiny on top, muddy everywhere else!)
Just collected my new purchase from the transport company after being shipped down from Mackay...., my first Defender....I'm now back in the office itching to fiddle with all the buttons and figure out how all the accessories work :)
Looking forward to installing my reversing camera this week and getting out in it at the weekend!
