That's almost identical to how mine is installed. Its not easy to see, but it is sheathed through into the battery box. Works fine.

Redarc Dual Oil Pressure/Oil Temp Guage

I’ve wired and plumbed in the dual Oil pressure/Oil temp, Cabin temp gauge using a SAAS LS3 Oil Pressure Gauge adapter. (Made life so much easier!)

Im happy with the result and just need to plumb/wire in the Transmission temp gauge.
My gauge cluster is made up of, from left to right:

    Automatic transmission temp
    Coolant temp
Dual Oil pressure/oil temp and cabin temperature display

Dual battery voltage in the single console face.

Ive also got the Engine Watchdog monitoring head temp, and a low coolant level alarm monitoring my LS3 6.2 engine.

    Best wishes all.

    Love it.
Even left a bloke in a Land Cruiser Sahara V8 who was trying to pull ahead of me in my mirrors the other day. (I’m no hoon, but he was begging for it!)
It really is a totally new driving experience and just perfect in my vehicle.👍

    One touch Indicators (Three flash)

I received my One Touch Indicator loom from Mud UK today (my favourite company in the UK).

It’s an easy install into the indicator loom and cig lighter socket and loom, although it’s made easier by removing your steering wheel.

Now I just have to deflect the indicator stem a few mm and you get three flashes for lane changing etc, as per modern vehicles (even though my Defener is a 2012&#128580.

I was eying that one off too, but couldn't justify adding it to yesterday's order. I mean, I don't need it. Will be handy for you though with all that overtaking you'll now be doing.

I can't tell you how much I hate that mob. Way too much good stuff on that website.

    Cheers,
    Jon

    Nakatenenga Stainless Bolt kit

Just purchased the brilliant Nakatenenga Stainless steel bolt 5 Door replacement kit from Mud UK.
This’ll be a nice Lock Down job, replacing the crap OEM rusted etc bolts and fasteners all around the vehicle with high quality SS Torx headed bolts.
More info on their kit when it arrives from The Mother Land.
    Shinny!

    Nakatenenga Stainless Bolt Kit

Excellent service from Mud UK as usual.
Ordered on Wednesday, delivered to me in Melbourne on the following Wednesday.
Box included 10 sizeable packs of anti seize coating, more than enough.
Guess what I’ll be doing over the next few days!

    Billet Parts Australia Windscreen Blocks

My new Windscreen blocks arrived from Billet Parts in QLD.

10 minute job to replace my OEM units which were starting to bubble.

I’m happy with the end results and the quality is great, inc stainless cap end bolts (yep, gave them a good coat of anti seize).

Highly recommended for Defenders that need some bling.
