Overhead cargo net - any recommendations?

I've just invested in the Dolium roof net:

Quality looks good for what it needs to do. I'm just working out how to fit it. It's a little bit too long to sit neatly between the cargo barrier and the back door. I can fix this by hanging it over the barrier and it will attach neatly to the cargo barrier brackets.

I haven't worked out how to mount it at the back yet. I need a hook or something in each corner mounted to the panel above the little quarter windows. I need to pull the rear trim off and have a look at my options. Another thought I've had is to bolt a length of angle or something to the grab handle mounting holes, which I could also mount some lights in.

Any ideas welcomed.

I'm interested to see just how it fits myself. It says it's to suit Defender, and doesn't mention any required mods, but we'll see when it gets here.

Hi Murray,
When you get the cargo net can you detail how you've mounted it.I've looked at this and their roof net but don't fancy drilling holes to mount either.

I've got the tapered cargo net in my 2 door hard top, it is good quality and fits well. I used rivnuts in the roof.

I have one of those and it's a 'Boab' brand. I got it from opposite lock.

Ditto. Mine's a Boab, and after having it sit unused while I contemplated whether or not to drill mounts for it I finally decided to just make it work with what I had. Here's a couple of photos of the set up using IKEA hooks, cable ties, and tie down straps. It should be fairly easy to make something up yourself. I plan on making a small one up for our 130 just using some lightweight mesh I have on hand. Ours will probably be used to hold the kids soft toys, hats, jumpers etc.

I'm going to dig this up and ask for a follow up on the Dolium roof cargo net.

I am looking to put one in my Hard Top Perentie, but measuring up I'm not sure how 90x1100 will work.

Can anyone post any pictures of theirs installed and what they think of them?
