dont get the ones that are advertised as blue/white or cool white for reading I find the warm white/yellow ones better for reading under.

the cool/blue ones have very harsh light Ive found and they give me a headache when doing any prolonged reading (nice "sharp" light for finding things though)

depending on how bright the reading light needs to be you could try some of those led lights that let you program the colour..

Set a PM with my details. Working this week but home by 4ish. I am here for maintenance so as in my PM, my finish time depends a bit on who does what to which machine. Or is that whom.
