There are a number of threads on AULRO, one from me as well.

I don't think rattling windows is the main reason for changing to gull wings, doubling the access for the the main reason.

The stuff you need is flocked bailey channel 350.360. Have a google and find a merchant that will provide you cut length service. Spectrum rubber no longer exists but other companies sell the same stuff they did.

I used the Garrison Outfitters kit. In the end, I didn't remove the window frame, etc... Instead, I just lubed up the channel and slid the rubber around the window. I am happy with the outcome, but in hindsight might of just sourced the rubber channel. It definitely stops the rattle, but also makes sliding the windows back and forth a little more difficult; good trade off in my opinion.

I know this has been covered before in various forums but I can't find any definitive answer to replacing the felt in the sliding windows. My TD5 110 yr2000 has ratlly and stiff windows and I want to replace the rubber for the slides. I'm not keen on getting a Dolium replacement hopper type aluminium window which seems to be the most common solution. The only replacement rubbers I can find are from Garrison Outfitters. Has anyone on the forum replaced or repaired their sliding windows and how did they do it.

Had trouble finding it locally. Cost about $40-$50

I used the Garrison Outfitters kit. A bit pricey but worked like a dream. No rattles and slides fine.
