I'm helping a friend wire up some daylight running lights on his 2014, Puma. What are your suggestions (& location) for me to power the lights from so they turn on with the start of the vehicle? I have a TD5 so I am not as familiar with the TDCI's layout.
I tried a reasonably easily accessible source off of the alternator, but that is a 12v constant, and so powers the lights even with the vehicle off. The Puma engine bay appears to be more tightly packed than my TD5, so any access tips would be appreciated.

On my D2 Td5 i will use an “add a fuse” to pick up 12v from the ECM fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. This will switch a relay to power the running lights direct from the cranking battery.
