Front propshaft vibration

Success! Took the propshaft off again, did another check of the unijoints and turns out, one bearing cap was out of place. Circlip was still in place but not sitting in its groove. Pulled it apart and sure enough, one of the needle bearings had come loose and was sitting in the base of the cap. Reassembled it properly with plenty of grease, put the propshaft back in and viola, no more vibration. :banana:

Yes and possibly the reason when some one installs a lift they may finish up putting a DC shaft in When I built my shafts one 1350 and front 1310 with precision machining and welding so no balancing and in phase for my 110. With speeds to 180 kph and nil vibrations shows not all shafts are created equal [biggrin]
