Most people don't understand how much pedal feel can vary with different compounds.

Initial bite, total retardation and quite importantly, release all vary.

Release on tyres with relatively minimal traction and no ABS is really important so you can modulate the pedal.

The filter/s will catch any debris.

Tdi's are notorious for destroying lash caps and the resultant debris doesn't affect overall wear.

Would there be a market for any of those bits you made?

Took the family into the Brindabellas for an outing today. Discovered that my drivers side rear mudflap was hanging a tad off kilter. At first I thought I'd lost the top nut off the bolt that attaches the outboard side of the bracket to the panel. Turns out a triangular chunk of panel had just cracked off, with nut and bolt still in place.

Didn't have any particularly good bits and pieces on hand, so I used some tin snips to cut a little section out of the lid of an empty jar. I laid it across the gap, with a stainless washer on each side of it and reattached the nut. Won't win any beauty contests, but it's pretty solid.

I suppose I should try and replace it with something more suitable, but it's ok for now.

Yeah, I do sell the hazard switch panels, track rod guards and steel dash replacements, but there’s so many small things that can be manufactured and not enough time to do it all.

Well tracked down all the required parts. Pulled all the injectors and inspected. Replaced cooper sealing washers and o rings on all injectors. Changed oil and filters. Also took the opportunity to replace the fuel regulator. It took a while to fire after conducting the fuel purge procedure. Did 100 kilometers this weekend and it is running well. Will need to update the ECU for the replacement injector when the current group buy for a nanocom finishes.

Replaced the original 89 seats with some fresh 2016s . Shown side by side. Gain a slightly higher backrest and easily adjustable/removable headrest, otherwise pretty much same deal.

Installed a lockable box.

Cubby is suposed to go on top, but plan to stick a cushion on it instead.

Replaced the security nuts with normal nuts on my wheels .. I did leave one on the spare.

I just don't know - has anyone ever had their wheels stolen?

it even resembles shiny....

i had to rescue the youngest daughters pajero from the carpark at morayfiled.

sadly the pajero appears to have popped an alternator.

so the big fella got a bath to share the love...
