    Thanks all. Good spot. Now fixed. The base part had to be separated and turned up the other way. Duh!
    I still don't trust it though.

    I have had one break on me, well it snagged whilst working under the hood, it around $15 from JLR.

    This is a better aftermarket design.

    Also can you share a photo how yours looks installed if you don't mind? I don't remember swapping ends, just cut and shave the bottom piece and shove the top one into it for a flush fitting

    Hope I finally got it right.
    I pulled the bottom off, pushed it up through the hole as far as it would go, then pushed the shaft of the top down into the hole.
    I'm a bit embarrassed I didn't realise the bottom separated. After mine disappeared I couldn't remember how it had looked. It's one of those things you ignore until it breaks.

    That does look better. Amusing it only costs $6.67, but the postage is $34.

    That is still not right and will break, will post a picture tomorrow

    Replaced P gasket
    Replaced power steering pump
    Replaced front and rear output flages and seals on transfer case.

    Still more to do
