I'd be thinking tyres.
This noise has been bothering me for the last 4 months.
I'm not sure whats causing it, but I still have another 4 months warranty and it goes to the dealer in 2 weeks.
The sound very slowly increases in intensity from about 40 and peaks at about 55-60, it seems to disappear after 70.
Sound is present regardless of gear, and is also present in neutral.
Its a whoop whoop whoop sound.
Im thinking prop shaft or universals.
Anyone else had this, its really annoying me now that even my wife notices it now.

Could be an oil seal on a wheel hub installed off true and slightly dry.
Tyre noise. check for scalloped or lumpy tread.
We had a noise which called have been described as "whoop whoop" on our 300TdI Deafener some years ago. No one could diagnose where it came from or what it was but after searching on here I slackened off the belts, removed them from the crankshaft pulley and found that had some slack when pushing and pulling it.
Following a recommendation from someone I took it to a clown in Osborne Park who brutalised with a chisel the nut holding the fan on (but that's another story) but changed the pulley as the keyway was worn.
End result apart from much nastiness about his or his workers ability was no noise. Check that first would be my advice.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but a dealer technician told me that noise was caused by the transfer case input shaft. He described it as a ‘characteristic’, but I’ve always been concerned it was a sign of imminent failure after reading on here about stripped input shafts. That said, we have two Defenders in our household and both have been making that noise for three or four years and still work...
I have a similar noise (from your description) on a modern Ford.
Crawled underneath looking for something loose & flapping but nothing.
Into the service department and after a quick test drive it was diagnosed as wheel bearing on the way out.
