Upgrading 110 Front Springs

Just went for a hoon......expecting the fronts to be maybe too stiff.

I don’t slow for the traffic calming speed bumps in the streets to my house....hit them at the normal 50km/hr and no difference in the fronts, the rear doesn’t bottom out because I can now run more air with the lift at the front. Off to find my airbag instructions to confirm correct ride height, I should be pretty close now.

Just need basic tools.....roughest part was getting the top but off the shock, totally stupid arrangement.

Mine currently has about 150kg at the back but I know the front looks a bit high.

Btw the rear are original and front are 130 springs.
Like I said I will get it checked out at Les Richmond in June.

Woohoo....rear bags are now within recommended operating height.....

Car level front to rear and left to right bags are sitting at 250mm...47psi in the left bag and 42psi in the right bag

Recommended height is ~240mm - ~280mm

Only thing i needed to purchase was

1 x M14x35 and
4 x M14 HT Washers

And had to use the die grinder to elongate one slot on one lower bracket by 3mm

A tad longer.......and that was just the front. 5hr,

that included driving to buy a bolt, two drives to the carpark at bottom of hill pre/post measurement, removing the top nut on shocks (had to re-use), drop sway bar, remove inter cooler pipework, modify one bracket pack up clean up......an a bit to eat.

Going forward if I ever have an issue it’ll be was quicker.

Just having a stir.. first time undoing old nuts and bolts can be a nightmare.

Just went through this on the 110 (referenced here Coil Springs and Shocks - Coil Springs and Shocks) and had 304mm on the front unloaded. Am wondering now reading through this whether I should be concerned with my setup?
