    Headlight relay upgrade questions

I have purchased 2x new era relays for the upgrade. Couple of quick questions. Any reason I can't run one power feed from the battery to power both relays, using a small jump lead from one relay to the other. If so what size should I be running? Only planning on headlights and a pair of driving lights. Also can I just chop of the factory h4 sockets and connect them to the relay, or should I uprade these using some larger wire to new sockets?

Maybe, but I probably have everything I need already and generally like doing things myself!

I see no issues with your proposal, although I should note that one of my "factory" sockets melted - and that was with standard wattage bulbs. The lead from the battery/starter/alternator should be considerably heavier than the original wiring, as this is a fairly long run, but the others are short, so no heavier than original is needed. (but a bit heavier would not hurt)
