Question Fault Codes on a '09 PUMA Defender - U0001 and U0155 - Effects on vehicle??

Guys.... I posted this in another post but I thought I would create a seperate post.....

Well, I had a look at my interior light on my '09 Puma today and thank the Lord, found out that the previous fella didn't slide the plug on properly and only one connection was making a connection - all good. Then I looked at the rear cargo light as it wasn't working either - hoping for the same thing and to my surprise it was, again the plug wasn't installed properly.... Then it happen !!! As I was putting it all back together I made an error and shorted the positive and negative and popped the interior light fuse. While the fuse was blown I put it all back together then looked for the fuse. Found it, replaced it, tested the lights - all good.... Then I started it and took it for a drive..... PROBLEMS

Immediately upon starting it up, something felt different. The 12v battery light remained "ON" on the dash and the accelerator felt different. The 12v battery light went out & I took it for a drive and it felt VERY different from its normal self. Being remapped it gets up and goes but this drove like it wasn't remapped at all, and the accelerator was behaving differently. After about a 20km drive nothing had changed so I stopped and checked the ScanGaugeII for Faults and found 2 fault codes listed: U0001 and U0155.

I have no idea whether these codes were pre-existing or not as I've never checked the SGII for faults. I cleared the faults, restarted the engine and fantastic - it appeared to be back to its normal self, driving wise and the response was back as well....

So, being new to these PUMAS, has anyone else ever popped an Interior light fuse before and experienced anything like I mentioned above?

I've attached a photo of the fault code listing but unsure of their full meaning.... Surely blowing an interior light fuse shouldn't affect your engine's performance

The IP lost comms fault is what caused the limp type of issue. The IP is like a gateway to everything in the Puma, even disconnecting the speedo transducer on these causes ppor running etc.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Good to know then, so for people who don't have any way of resetting these codes, what do they do then, especially when they are remote? Is there any way of manually resetting it to get it to perform normally?

Btw: My Trip meter had zeroed itself too, so I just assume this was also related to blowing the fuse ??

With most, a hard reset or key cycle will clear it, but there are a few hard codes that will leave the check lamp on, and reduced performance.

OK.... the only problem is there was no check lamp up on the dash, just noticed the different driving performance, it wasn't until I checked the SGII that I noticed the 2 fault codes....

'Soft' error codes don't result in a MIL lamp sometimes, is it still ok today?

I haven't driven it today but I took it out again last night to pick up the daughter and it went fine as per normal, so I'm hoping all is good going forward
