I've got a set of these from an old welder, that when I get around to it I'll be putting on the seat box inside the front passenger door.

I have put a 175amp Anderson plug on the base of the passenger seat box and have put 175amp Anderson plugs on the 400amp jumper leads .
Have used this a few times starting a couple of vehicle's including 2 farm trucks.
I have also just put the short end of the jumper leads on and connected a battery charger so that I can charge the main battery and the second battery when I have left the fridge on (or forgot to turn the lights off [bigwhistle]) Attachment 146925Attachment 146926Attachment 146927Attachment 146927
I had some terminals on the bullbar of my old 130 under the left had headlight. Don’t know much about them or brand but they were great. Does anyone know anything about them?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8b65fbec82.jpg
Why over complicate a simple job.
Just fit a standard 50 amp Anderson plug on the passenger side of your Defender’s battery compartment and run some 6B&S ( 13.5mm2 ) cable to your cranking battery.
Job done!
Buy a lithium jump starter for about $200 and keep it charged and sitting in the drawers.
Walk up to stopped vehicle
Take jump starter out of pocket
Connect
Wait a couple of minutes
Start vehicle
Works fine for me.

If you runan Anderson plug to outside the battery box it is possible to connect the jump starter with an Anderson plug without lifting the seat.
‘I have a set of leads with an Anderson Plug that plug into the rear power supply on the tow bar.
saves you mucking about trying to get batteries close together to do the jumping.
just back up to the offending Landcruiser/Patrol and your ready to jump or even better you’re ready to Tow Which is more likely needed.
cheers
Paul.
NB;I have a set Of wiring to the rear from the Auxiliary Battery under bonnet of my D3.
