Digging up an old thread here, but how did you go with these? Also a bit confused about whether these will fit onto a Puma 130...

I'm happy with the ones on my 130 except the rears do not have enough rebound control for a 130 My parts details are in a post here What did you do on your Defender today ? (well, this week anyway)
When I'm enthusiastic I'll pull the back ones off and tighten up the adjustment and see how it goes. I'd rate them on a par with the factory ones which are actually pretty good but after 100,000Km were well past their prime.

That's interesting Tote...I'd sleep with my raids if I could...
My 1998 130 weighs in at 3t in normal driving mode and a little heavier in touring mode. The ride is exceptional. Trouble it is deceptively too nice and I have been caught out driving on rough dirt at excessive speed and not letting tyres down...was lazy with the koni raid's soaking up the bumps, but blew a rear tyre because of it.
pull the raids out and adjust the rebound
I am assuming that the top and bottom mounts are the same on the puma rear axle - ie eye at the top and pin at the bottom?
Thread dredge but I'm up for a set. Just ordered today. I sure hope they are ok as not cheap.
Sounds as though there are four rebound settings.
I've had two sets of the cheap bilsteins now. They only seem to last a few years and don't stand up to hard use.
Well the review on the raids.. have transformed the ride of the car. worth the money. At the end of a hard day in the desert can still put your hands on them.
Have had the Koni HD Raids for six years now, and cannot yet complain. They are rock solid, improved the ride greatly and stand up to everything we've thrown them in our 87 110 camper so far, on road, off, hardpack, mild rock crawling. They come at a dear price, but I'm a believer.
