No, although with my usage I’m not particularly worried about it. Having read of a few examples of vehicles not starting due to problems with the immobiliser I am more concerned about it leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere than someone nicking it.
When the alarm is set the immobiliser works as normal. It’s only the passive immobiliser I have (hopefully) disabled, so when it’s sitting unlocked it doesn’t immobilise.
