Thread: 1985 110 County genuine expedition style roof rack - did it exist?

    I have an full alloy aftermarket one on my County. The mounts have been modified so it came from something else (before I got the 110). Looks OK IMO but have never actually used it.

    The Landybitz one actually looks pretty appropriate and similar to the one shown in the brochure

    Some box section and a welder and you could make one.
    I've been considering making one for my shorty, the steel supplier will cut the box section to length so just need to weld it together then get it galvanised.

    Yep, the subtle differences from the landybitz one make that Tanami rack look a lot better IMO

    Here's a way to make the nice bends in box section steel.

    There are a few more complicated tools on YouTube, the one above was cheap & simple.
