Who knows you might be right, So will you still wave? Im sure the first defender in 84 was an abomination to series owners, and for some may well still be. Looks about 50/50 on this thread will be waving at this point, ill be waving at you
Its interesting whilst I agree with your take on the origins of the wave, regarding the LR wave, being a RRC owner it goes beyond defenders/series, its got a very high success rate with the RRC's and also quite a high defender to RRC rate of waves, moreso if they have mods.
Its pretty cool either way, Ill keep it going no matter what LR I drive, as we say when anyone doesn't return it, they are just being trained for next time

No way,cos it isn't a "Defender" as we know it.
FWIW,you would be surprised how many waves you get driving a series vehicle,from other Series vehicles drivers,and Defender drivers.
