    1. I've got a '09 Puma 110 that I want to do the Oil/Filter change myself... The question is how often do u need to replace the drain plug with a new one or can u simply buy the O'Rings and reuse the plug?

    2. Looks like I also need to replace my worn out suspension bushes (front radius arms, etc) - Which would be better > SuperPro or Rubber? (i've been running SuperPro on my old Defender for a while now w/o issues but I've heard people say rubber is better....)

    3. Fuel Filtering - I had fuel problems on our recent outback trip and it got me thinking if there is a better fuel filtering system (ie: replace the existing with something better with a built-in primer) or install an aux fuel filter somewhere that also has a built-in primer - What are peoples' thoughts?

    4. How do u disconnect the Fuel Lines from the Factory Fuel Filter? Do u need a special Tool at all?

    5. Thinking about replacing the factory std fuel tank with an LR Fuel Tank. I've also got a Factory Towbar and Folding Step fitted + I also have the Aux Inner Guard Fuel Tank installed - Is there an Aftermarket Replacement LR Tank that I can source that will still allow me to utilise the Inner Gaurd Aux Fuel Tank + keep my Factory Towbar and Folding Step?

    Thanks in advance...
Most have covered the above other than regarding the fuel filter. I also put in the secondary filter that sits over the cross member as part of the Diesel Care kit. It is a bit of a pain to get the fuel lines undone and there is a special tool for it (something like this Laser Air con & Fuel disconection tool set. 4pc. 4387 5018341043872 | eBay), but you can manage with just a screwdriver or alike and some careful perseverance. There are instructions with the kit but basically just a blue button on the top of the fuel line that depresses - took me about 30 mins to get both. I would probably recommend the tool though in hindsight it would have made the whole install a breeze...

Also re fuel tank - I have the Long Ranger 120L. I imagine it would work with the aux tank as it is basically direct replacement for standard. Something to be conscious of if you do any decent offroading is the tank sits about 50mm or so below the chassis - I have smashed it a few times on declines/rock shelves... Carry a soap bar everywhere I go now... Also means extended sway bar mounts if you are running those too.

75L poly welded tank sitting under tray. Filler is the OEM unit moved to space between tray and cab, fuel flows through 65mm plumbing into OEM tank (can see the plumbing in first picture)

Removed and blocked the silly little breather which just lets in water and tied both tank 5/8” breathers all together up to filler neck at just below window height between tray and cab.

Can fill with high flow pump running flatout no burping

Filter is as close to Factory style install as possible.

    Pickup to Parker P4 Filter
Parker to OEM Filter all using Ford EFI hose and hardware

    Think that is all.

Parker has a dash warning for water in fuel and a momentary switch to drive the priming pump. Makes fuel system work a breeze.

First of all a high quality secondary filter unit running a 30 micron filter upstream of the main filter is a good idea.

Second re the suspension bushes I only use Land Rovergenuine Puma rubber bushes. I have used some Superpro in the past, but they do tend to stiffen up the front axle articulation. The Superpro triangular bushes on the front end of the rear trailing arms worked well when new but didn't last as long as the genuine rubber ones. I am prepping my 110 for an extended cross country trip in the Simpson desert and am replacing suspension bushes with genuine late model rubber.

I assume u mean between the OEM Filter and Fuel Tank? If so, where can one mount this AUX Fuel Filter as I don't see much mounting space between the fuel tank and filter... other than up under the LHS rear inner guard... The Factory OEM FIlter is rated at 5 microns I believe?

I've got SuperPro bushes on my old Defender 110 and can't complain to date but then again I've only probably done a little over 10,000kms which included a trip to the VHC, but no bad corrugations that then to be the conditions that destroy bushes...
