County Clutch Master Cylinder Removal 85 petrol V8

    Hi,
I need to take out the master cylinder (new one is on order), and it seems the easiest way is to disconnect the fluid pipe and remove the whole pedal and master cylinder assembly. I have taken out 7 bolts from inside the cab but the "box" wont let go. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.

It has a rubber type seal Jim. My guess is that it is glued together. A bit of gentle persuasion should fix it.

You don’t need to remove the whole pedal box, but it is a pain getting to the bottom bolt on the mc. From memory It helps to get someone to hold the pedal down a bit and undo the nut from underneath (inside the footwell).
