Can 3rd row seats be sold?

Sure can be sold. However is it wise to sell them? That is another question.

I had a bit of trouble in Qld with initial rego because the rear jump seats were out. First at the rego check which worked out OK and they warned me; then at the Registry office when they checked the data plate. The 7 seat SVX did not comply with it's data plate and the VIN with only five seats. Fast talking, or they could have required me to re-install. All that is needed is an awkward bureaucrat who is having bad day. [bigsad]

A pre sale rego check will bring about the same problem. One needs to get an "Engineering Approval" plate to not have the two extra seats. In addition plod could get awkward if they wished, because the vehicle does not comply.

Obviously, no seats to reinstall - PROBLEM!

Checkes today. In qld it seems you just complete a form and have an authorised person sign to say it is not a major modification. Seems pretty straight forward to reduce seating capacity.

1000 bucks! Good luck with trying to flog them at that price. Just to get rid of mine after advertising at what I thought was a reasonable 500, I put them up at a 100 bucks.
And some turkey in the east said if I sent them to him at my expence, he would 'evaluate" them to see if they were worth it..... :)
There are some tossers around alright.
Bloke with an older model 110 took them even though the rear wheel boxes in the back were not the same design as he reckoned he'd make them fit OK.
