Thanks for that Fitzy, I hadnt seen the later version, I think the one that I used was a TD5 era document.

Thanks for the help. What alloy tray did you start with or is it custom?
There is a Landrover 130 alloy tray on Gumtree. Bloke wants $4k for it .
How high is your deck if it has that all underneath it. I have a 3 dogs slide on camper I want to put on it . The camper is 2200 long. So will over hang approx 400mm.
This one is on Gumtree picture. Under dual cab trays.
Have you got photos of your front and rear mounts.

Mind is a 96 TDI, does this manual apply?
    Are the mounts the same?
Does the tub bolt to the same place as the tray?
Most trays have I have seen. (Just replaced my wifes farm rodeo tray) Have I beam , box or c channel. Running length ways.
With the front mount is it possible to run box tube across the front mounts with rubber underneath both the chassis mount and tray mount.
Then on the rear mount just box on either of the mounts
High enough to fit two 235 85 16 wheels in side by side.long ways
My camper has water and batteries , and storage , it even has room for one spare .
All I need under the tray is the spare tyres

That tray might need a bit of work but it’s a start
The wheel arch will be too far forward on the tray but that is usually very easy to shift

My tray started life as a MMM but really the only remaining components are the deck panels
The mudguards and 2/3 of the drop down sides

(I have a 600mm wide cage with fridge/ dog box) at the back of tray.

Under the ally tray panels I’ve run two longitudinal C sections
    180mm x 75mm from memory

Then have picked up two points at the rear cross member and at the very front
A steel cross beam from chassis rail across to chassis tail with two anti rotation members across the span

I reckon that PDF is specific to the 110 cab chassis as none of the front chassis components are in play in a dual cab?

Anyways photos should tell the story

Apologies - rotate head left for viewing
First image is rear tower and mount with view of tray longitudinal rail
Second image is front mount system. Black steel picks up off vehicle chassis at 4 locations and is a piece of 75x75x10 angle - mounts to the ally longitudinal rails with V8 engine mounts

Yep, in the technical manuals section under files at the top of your screen. EDIT (oops, sorry that is the TD5 version)
