The LS3s had a lot more low end torque than the LS1s. I doubt you'd find it wanting. Happiest on PULP, though due to the aggressive compression and spark limited tuning. Quite happy on E10, very much designed for it. Will give away noticeable torque and driveability on standard ULP, but it'll still be strong.
