If its anything like our patrol, average 13.5, hwy 10, towing camper 15.1, he should be pretty damn happy.

    Im seriously excited Mike.

i enjoy driving my Defender far more than my Discovery 4 HSE (a beautiful vehicle) and prior to the engine upgrade, would find myself tooling around at say 85-90kph, just cruising at the vehicles happy zone.

It’ll be a totally different vehicle once I get it back, but I’m sure I’ll still be cruising around, but perhaps listening to the engine note more. My perfect 4X4, just about completed.

Probably just a new paint job, thinking of Keswick Green (favourite) or Aston Martin China Grey.

Patrol V8, i was just stating what we get from a modern petrol v8 in a 2.7t car, that Ken should expect similar results

Fuels cheap at the moment anyway!! I think you will find early consumption figures will be outrageous as you tromp it for that sweet sound! Can’t wait for the verdict after the test run!! Congrats!

Very Jealous Ken. You must be having a few sleepless nights in anticipation of getting the vehicle back.

    Exhaust fitting today!

Sorry, no photos yet, but my 110 went to get its exhaust fitted today. It is a custom job, but due to my long range rear fuel tank, will only be a single 3 inch muffler, vs twin.🥺

    Photos to follow ASAP.

    Wont be long now!
