I’d prefer the single TBH.

Hi Vern;
Thanks mate;
Yes I think it will be special when I get it back. The boys are also fitting new carpet and a dash plugged remote UHF unit to modernise the comms.
Re the BP51s. I love them, but haven’t had a chance to really work them in the bush yet.
They offer a very controlled, comfortable ride on dirt tracks and highway, with minimal body roll considering I’ve the roof rack and roof top tent fitted.
Ill do a write up when the vehicle comes back.
Best wishes Vern.
Ken
What do you think of this Mike?
Im warming to the idea, it’s an easy mod and the circular trim is readily available from The Mother Land.

I considered them on a few of mine.
Not legal to exhaust left here though.
Personally just dump it flush at the rear crossmember.
Here is the finished exhaust.
Very neat, and Andrew advises it sounds “Very very nice!”

That’s neat. I am surprised at seeing three mufflers. Is there a catalytic converter in there somewhere?
nice tail shafts too.
must be ready soon
Hi Andrew;
Im not sure re the Cat, but there seems to be a canister just aft of each manifold and prior to the first muffler in the first picture, so probably, and I expect that the vehicle would need to comply with the latest emission controls.
I haven’t asked as to the date, as the vehicle requires a GVM upgrade, new carpet in the front and the Engineering sign off, but might follow up re this latter in the week.
Re the prop shafts, Heavy duty Gwyn Lewis DC 20/20 in the front, and 20 in the rear. Shouldn’t wear out for quite some time and so much beefier than standard.
I sent a message off to the Spirit of Tasmania this morning re travelling over with my Macaw and Shar Pei so I can stay for a while after collecting the vehicle.
Ill still need to 14 day self isolate on return to TAS so I’m in no rush to get back, and yes, it’s getting very exciting!
More to follow!

Wow, all back together, driving under its own steam.
Andrew advises the following:
“Yes all back together. All we have left is upholstery of the carpets and console. Booked in for 15/6, and your cluster is out having the shift display module being done. Then a small bit of wiring to do, refit console and test drive.”
