While not a directly on point of the OP. I have a Puma. Fitted 4.11's to suit the 35's. result is 8% shorter than factory 1.221 TC, 3.54 and 235's. It sat a little over 2200 rpm at 100 khp and felt over geared. i fitted 1.1 to the TC which dropped the rpm to 2000 at 100 kph (same as factory combo). The result is a shift into 4th on steep hills and no chance of holding 6th on any hill. Even on flat country roads i find i have to put the boot into it more than before to maintain speed. What i save in fuel by lower rpm, i spend because i need a heavier foot. While the numbers suggested i would be fine, the real world result was a truck that is gutless. Sometimes the number lie.
