    Hope he sells it

Someone is asking $97,888 for a 2014 Defender with 23,105kms on Carsales. That's a lotta money for a Defender.

Check out this 2014 Land Rover Defender Manual 4x4 MY15.

I mean yeah hes slightly dreaming but this always happens when they stop producing a car. Go look at what one of the last V8 SS commodores are "worth" now.

To be fair its got some nice kit, i don't know if you've ever sat in recaros but they are properly nice.

So what is so special about this Defender?

Also a bit of a dreamer here - and it is not even an early RRC - $185,000 for a 84 model .

Love that line 'All the money has been spent for you'!! Except the asking price of about forty times what the car is worth!

    cracks me up

so much effort to hide the number plate in some photos and then clearly show it in others.
you'd think if someone was marketing a vehicle wanting that kind of money they would get the basics right and pay a decent photographer to present it right
Also I am really NOT a fan of LED lighting - this reminds me of an idiots pimped up jeep of one of those "TV reality" shows. it would have been a nice vehicle, but some people just don't know when to stop

LED headlights are actually illegal unless they were an original fitment/option I believe, not that it seems to stop people fitting them. I wonder how many LED aftermarket kits fitted here are actually for left hand drive and don't dim properly.

Still for sale!!! No surprises there.
Nice truck BUT It would need to be pre' 1980 to get anywhere near even ½ the price asked.

It would also need to be concourse standard, which it isn't.
They need to go online to some UK sites and see what a full restoration is all about, then try again with a realistic price.

From a quick glance at the photos, I’ve listed just a few just a few little details that show this is not a concourse restoration by any means. How many other things are not done properly?

The driver’s seat has an obvious stain and in fact all the seats are aged and stretched. They need re-covering back to new condition in original colours.
The steering wheel of all things, should be replaced with a new original one or refurbished with new leather because it is always in the driver’s face and hands
Fancy zooming in on the Hi LO / Diff' Lock knob. It is absolute rubbish, they didn’t even bother to replace it with a new one.
The oil gauge and clock are still fogged under the glass, they should look like new.
The rear center seatbelt colour stands out like dog’s balls.
The tailgate doesn't seem to close properly. If it does, they should at least close it for the photos.
    Etc, etc,

    End of rant!
