10AS issues.....
Must be the season for 10AS issues. My 2013 Defender has been in a work shop for the last 3 months for an accident repair. During this time it's had the body separated from the chassis for most of it. The battery obviously disconnected for that period. he length of time without power has meant the 10AS module has died. Now it needs to be upgraded to the new ALM module with a wiring look upgrade etc. Has anyone else experienced a 10AS module dieing because it was powered off for a long period of time?

My 2000 Defender doesn’t have 10AS like all the others.....
Had all sorts of issues changing the ECU....until the the 10AS programming was removed from the time than all sweet.
Sadly nobody in AUS was interested in sorting a new time, TD5alove sorted it.

10AS problems,, had lots!
LRA will want you to replace with current for around $3K fitted.
Suggest you try to find all of my posts on the system. There is also a UK computer wiz who re-programmes the 10As modules and I believe has sufficient chips remaining to redo the module. I understand that Solihul had to change change out from the 10AS units because the chip was no longer manufactured.
Lucky - I kept the link : Land Rover 10AS Repair and Programming
At the moment I will say no more about my deffie and my problems with 10AS, I don't want to tempt fate
