    Oil leak Puma 2.2 110

    Hi Gents

Can someone identify the T piece circled pls. I may have a small crack on the underside. Is it an oil line to the injectors?

    Thx Ezy

Fuel return, it'll get worse if it has cracked, the vibrations will not help. They fairly pour out if it breaks, enough to cause a spontaneous combustion
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Is it under any fuel rail pressure when switched off? 6mm fitting?

No. During running, on the 2.2 there is a circulation of fuel as there is an intank pump.

    Thx again
I have some food grade stainless steel barbed fittings for post mix drink lines. I might see if one fits. Got to be better than plastic.

    Hi Justin
I finally found the leak, when I looked closer and let it run for a while longer at higher revs I found it. The plastic intake manifold is cracked near cylinder 3.

Taking the manifold off for a crack is a real pain....almost as bad as taking the engine out...as you need to remove all the cooling system plumbing.
Lucky you could get to the crack and seal it up, BTW the sealer is a combination of super glue and bicarb of soda, which creates a real hard type of plastic.
So there is no need to buy the expensive kits if you are happy with a white coloured seal.
Also if you intend to replace the manifold they are way cheaper buying one from Ford Spares than LR.
