    Defender 110 Rock Sliders

Planning on fitting a set of rock sliders to my Tdi 110 and considering the Kingpin Fabrications slim line type. Anyone have these or dealt with Kingpin Fabrications ? Any other suggestions appreciated.

    thanks

I have only ever heard good things about Kingpin, Rick and his products.

I've got 2 sets on both of my 110 Defenders - Love them.

Rick is a great bloke and good to deal with... I see his business has been growing and growing over time so I can only assume good things... Drop him a line

I haven't bought rocksliders from Kingpin, but I did buy an Ashcroft HD cross-pin for a VERY good price! Not only did I get a great deal, but it was a pleasure speaking with Rick.

Looks like some good products, I would have purchased a set of rocksliders for the Perentie but the shipping was as much as the sliders, so I got the DIY brackets instead.

I fitted the Kingpin Fabrication Ultra Slimlines.
Rick went out of his way to make me extra bits unrelated to the sliders as well. I got them raw and painted them myself. The lazer cut brackets fit my Perentie perfect.

I did not want sliders that multi-task as steps. I wanted strength and a slider as-close-to-chassis-as-possible in case I use a Jackall under it to lift the truck off a obstacle etc.

I removed the sill panel PITA trimpieces of course.

I got some on my 110 and I would absolutely recommend! They Look great (imho), functional, strong as hell. Make the car look higher too because they are sill replacement sliders. Importantly they don't stick out so far like steps to collect debri and catch onto stuff. I got mine sent to me powder coated black. Cheaper than comparable items
    (Even when shipped to Tas)
