Can't imagine why. Perhaps Defender has become a dirty word. I suppose 8 letters is potentially twice as bad as 4. Anyway I wanted to share with you, the sad tale of Biddy being forced by circumstance, to work on the Railways.

Been doing bits and pieces in the 90. A Naka...something read door soft close strut arrived today with programmable wiper relay. The green circle button is for a built in jumpstarter...from an ozzie company.

Added the Nakatanenga rear door gas strut. Gamechanger. Door holds open now. Lift the handle and the door glides open by itself.

10 minute job. The air pop riveter I bought this year has been an absolute winner.

    My Defender in Dubbo

IMG_6391.jpg I am restoring my 300Tdi Defender 110 to some degree. I needed to cut out the bulkhead and footwell rot and I'm replacing the radiator etc etc. The more I do the more has to be done!

Recent adventure along the Holland track in WA

Only time I had an issue was when sheer laziness meant leaving in high range. Problem solved by reversing a few metres, finding low range and the continuing on
