Headlight upgrade

Has anyone tried Petersons LED 7 inch inserts?
A few of the drivers at one of my customers doing interstate have them in their trucks
Made in the US of A and lifetime warranty

The price goes with the warranty, even through my Baxter’s Trade account they are up there[emoji848](price on link a LOT higher than my price)

Stedi lights seam to have better output when you compare the specs, it’s good to compare in real life rather than on paper sometimes [emoji1531][emoji1531]

Love my J.w.Speakers J3 that I’ve just fitted.

Wonder why ppl are going for LED;s

+ LED's are bright, other cars see you better
+ LED's use less watts
? LED's last longer - not from my experience (from motorbike)
- LED's cost more
- Driving vision worse (cant see animals as easy, sign flash back, rain is awful)

Note: I have FYRLT driving lights, ECO halogen bulbs in the main lights and Wipro Led blinkers, taillights, park etc... (with a Traxide relay upgrade)

Modern technology.
I far prefer them over other light sources and love the integration of DRL and indicators.

I will agree, in the urban areas LED works great.
Once out in the bush, especially at speed, where fauna is about, the higher CRI of a decent xenon driving light is far superior.

Led - no matter who makes them, cannot match the CRI and mask colour rendering.

Yep, I certainly won’t argue there, especially when driving and road signs are around, the reflection from LED driving lights can be stupid bright, unless a yellow filter is used.

‘I just tend to go with the latest tech and preferred to move away from globes and higher current draw (even though I’d updated my main and secondary looms and batteries. I’ve still the same factory alternator though (I think, I need to check on that, I’ve swapped so much out I can’t remember if I did it with the engine swap!).

Perhaps I’ll have some Fyrlt Halogen fitted in the future as I fine tune my driving lights now my roof rack is removed. They do get a very good rating above everyone else product.👍

I have a pair of Stedi 7" sealed beam LED's Very impressed with the light output. Easy install. Also ADR approved, so no worries with compliance.

Has anyone installed the Stedi Homage lights on a puma with adjustable headlights? Are the mounting points the same as the old fixed beams and does it allow you to retain the beam height adjustment?
