Ass U Me . But it's not just LR. They all do it. When Renault got involved with Nissan they were stunned to see Nissan had 85 different steering wheels when all they had were around 20 different cars, and they had inventory of all 85. Not even perfect Toyota is perfect. They are notorious for making things like switchgear that looks identical across models but do not fit across models.... Combination switches in particular.
Working spare parts for an individual marque is a nightmare. God knows how mobs like Bursons do it.
