Most modern vehicles monitor and record continually,all sorts of parameters.
If the vehicle is under warranty,it wouldn't take much of a look from the manufacturer to see something is a bit odd.
I know of one manufacturer that wont do any engine/trans repairs without head office going through the downloads from the vehicles ECU's.
They are not stupid when it comes to warranty issues.
Quotes: “Does not rely on”…. “Above safe levels”…
Hence it uses multiple adjustments to parameters.
It’s a combination of at least some of these:
Injector pulse width
Fuel pressure
Timing
Boost
Boost requires extra fuel
Extra fuel comes from either longer pulse and/or pressure
If it’s working for you that’s fine…..
I'm no expert, but based on what I've read I think it lengthens the pulse, if you push it, which I try to avoid.
