Woolworths built a new shop at Chatswood, the parking has a great height 2.3M … but here’s the problem, they don’t let Defenders in!
Although there is plenty of height they told me the system does not let the car in because it’s too high off the ground. Apparently the sensor is not able to read the car because of the suspension height.
Mine is stock standard 2012, no lift kit etc .. so you have to buy a Tesla or BMW etc to get in I guess. It’s a sad day!
Not sure … but they actually took the time to sit down and explain the issue! It is nuts!
Simple way for them to fix that, park it in front of the unopened boom gates.
Write a letter to the Board of Woolworths Group.
Explain the situation and tell them until its fixed you'll be shopping at Coles

Putting something on their social media might get a quicker response.
Was it someone in management who explained the issue - or the carpark/security staff?
It’s definitely something that can be fixed so speak with management about “when”

Interesting..... I had a problem going into the T4 carpark at Tullamarine airport a few weeks back. One gate didn't know I was there, had to move over to another. Eventually got in. Wonder if it was the same thing?
That's is discrimination isn't it? Ring up the department of fair trading for their opinion.
Don.
I assume everyone's replies are taking the mickey right?
I only ask that as back in the days of harden up a tad one would park not under cover and a bit further away and walk.
