Defender Key Blanks

Actually though, I use a random password generator, so if my Mac ever gets dementia and forgets them i'm screwed.

Found an amalgamated locksmiths in Brisbane (my area), not sure if it's the same one but they seem to have LR keys. Hopefully they've got some blanks cheaper than $80.. Cheers mate

Yes it is Amalgamated locksmiths in brisbane, they contacted me, I have bought out the stock they had, but will be getting more stock in the new year.

many moons ago my only key was so warn it was hit and miss to engage the pins in the starter barrel. I didn't have a spare key and fob. I followed DazzaTD5's approach at great expense. i bought an original LR blank and a generic blank and a new fob. I don't recall any issues with cutting the key by the local Mister Minute. Was a rude shock for LR to code the fob. All up i paid a little under $500 for 2 cut keys and a coded fob. Hoping to not repeat that exercise.

Another reason a Nanocom is valuable, for the appropriate vehicle. Fob programming is a snap... err, maybe I should rephrase that...[bigwhistle]
